Pakistani People Forced to Spend Hefty for Vaccine

The vaccination program in Pakistan is facing multiple hurdles which have led the country to a dangerous juncture. A limited supply of vaccines & delayed deliveries is forcing the citizens of the country to opt for more expensive options available with private hospitals. The country has started the vaccine drive in February 2021 but is finding it hard to smoothly run the same. The Pakistani government has received approximately 2.56 million vaccine doses from China & has around 7,30,000 Covid cases reported. The country is highly relying upon a donation from other countries & is struggling to keep up with the pace of the vaccine drive across the country.
