Seven Armed Giant Octopus Appears from the Sea
A bizarre-looking red globe appeared from
the sea on a beach in Washington. As soon as its picture was posted on the
internet it gained massive attention from enthusiasts & scientists across
the world. The specie was dead & approx five feet large. Some people
suggested that this might be a vampire squid creature which is found in the
deep sea. However, post various discussions it was decided that this is more
likely to be a Haliphron atlanticus which is a seven-armed octopus found under
2000 to 3000 feet deep water in the Atlantic Ocean.
