COVID 19 Vaccine Trials Paused
An American pharmaceutical firm Eli Lilly
has suspended its COVID 19 vaccine trials owing to concerns over safety issues.
This news is a huge setback for the researchers investing their efforts in the
development of the vaccine across the globe. This trial was in its third phase
which came across an unspecified adverse incident in one of the patients.
Before a day or two another American pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson
halted its trial proceedings due to an unexplained illness in a study participant.
